The Story behind Ken.
In 1975, Ken Read becomes the first North-American skier to win the Alpine Skiing World Cup. Yes, it’s cold in Canada, but it will have taken Ken to show the world that you didn’t need to be European to win a ski race. This victory led to the formation of the Crazy Canucks – a group of Alpine skiiers composed of Ken, Steve, Dave and Dave. Between these 4 athletes, 107 appearances in the top-10 between 1978 and 1984! And still today, the Crazy Canucks name reminds us of Canadian fervor at its peak. The best part is, you can carry a little bit of that feeling with you in your pocket!
